I’m reading “Piercing the Darkness” by Frank Peretti again after a long time, and I think it is time to write a review about it. As a teen, I was captivated by the spiritual warfare scenes. Now, with more life experience, I see the book differently. The story hasn’t changed, but my understanding has. I now appreciate how Peretti blends the supernatural with everyday life – something I missed when I was younger and more focused on the exciting parts.
Revisiting Chapter 1 feels like catching up with an old friend. It’s familiar, but there’s so much more to discover. What used to be just an entertaining story now offers deeper spiritual insights that I can use in my daily life. It’s amazing how a book can take on new meaning as we grow older.
